The Bachelor will be returning for its 28th season. This season will feature pro tennis teacher Joey Graziadei from Koloa, Hawaii. Joey was the runner-up in the 20th season of the reality TV show The Bachelorette featuring Charity Lawson.

It was announced on August 21, 2023, by Jesse Palmer during the show's final episode that Joey would be the new Bachelor. He then met his first potential contestant 23-year-old Lea Cayanan.

When Will The Bachelor Season 28 Premiere?

The 28th season of The Bachelor will premiere on January 22, 2024, on ABC. The show could not premiere on the day it was supposed to because there was a three-week delay from its standard first week of January. This was to avoid any clash with the network's coverage of Monday Night Football which broadcasts National Football League games on Monday nights.

Filming of the show started on September 19, 2023, in Agoura Hills, California. The filming crew later changed the filming location to Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge in Jasper, Alberta. Other filming locations include; Tulum, Mexico; Mdina, Malta; Marbella, Spain; and Montreal, Quebec. Like previous seasons, each episode of the show will be two hours long. Its final episode will premiere on March 25, 2024.
